Mission Statement

Pneumo MAP logo The expert clinicians and scientists that form the Pneumo Medical Advisory Panel (PneumoMAP) are committed to improving child survival globally, particularly in developing countries. Acting collectively, they work as an expert resource to educate UK, European and global parliamentarians and civil servants concerned with global health and overseas development aid.

The panel believes that investing in vaccines will save the lives of many children and help to reach the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goal of reducing child deaths by two-thirds between 1990 and 2015.
